Brucellosis Fundamentals Workshop

A two-day Brucellosis Fundamentals Workshop will be held on May 16-17, 2024 at Texas at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas just prior to the Society’s Research Conference. This workshop will target laboratory workers, veterinarians, human health professionals and policy makers as well as graduate students interested in working in these areas.

In addition to various scenarios and case examples in the workshop, topics will include:

     2) Animal Diagnostics
     3) Human Diagnostics
     4) Best approaches to diagnosing animal brucellosis

     6) Approaches for Next Generation Sequencing
     7) Brucella Vaccines
     8) Best approaches for disease control in endemic countries
     9) Importance of scientific rigor for brucellosis publications
     10) Framing National Policies

The registration fee for this workshop is $900/person (plus credit card fees) and includes all materials, supplies, coffee breaks and lunches.
